A bit about me, I did not start out as a Digital Artist before I decided to become a digital artist my career was as a furniture designer maker creating one-off pieces of furniture for high-end customers which I had done for twenty years. After having an accident in the workshop left me with no other option I had to have knee surgery. Once I had recovered I was told by my Doctor that it would be best not to go back into the same career as it involves heavy lifting, taking their advice lead me to take a course in 3D modeling thinking that I may not be able to make furniture anymore but I can still design them. Also took a two-year course in Art and Design level three and was able to use some of my skulls as I was not truly sure what was the next step for me. Studying art and design give me a passion for the way artist use light and shadows to create form, or their use of colour made me fall in love with the process used to create such masterpieces. For me there was no turning back this was something I wanted to do now attending University Center Peterborough to gain my(BA Hons) as a Digital Artist to take that next step thank you for all your support.
